Welcome. I am a mixed media artist living in America. 

As an educator, an artist, and an aspiring children's book author, my life's work is a testament to the profound beauty of simplicity. For me, a blank piece of paper or an unprimed canvas isn't merely an empty space; it is, in itself, a work of art, brimming with untapped potential. My artistic process is deeply rooted in the power of the mind as my primary medium, with the diverse tools of the world around me serving as my instruments. This philosophy has evolved over time, guiding me back to my foundational love for uncluttered expression. I've discovered that true meaning isn't found in the convolution of visual subject matter with extraneous colors or superfluous strokes. Instead, it lies within the inherent simplicity of life itself. This realization has reignited a fearless passion within me, driving me to connect with the things I cherish most, embracing them with unwavering enthusiasm.

My artistic journey began informally, tracing back to my days navigating the vibrant, bustling subway systems from 1984 to 1987, where the urban landscape became my first unconventional canvas. After a hiatus, I rekindled my passion for painting in 2005, a rekindling that would eventually lead me to more structured artistic pursuits. From 2015 to 2017, following the joyous arrival of my son, I immersed myself in the creative atmosphere of Uptown Art, a popular paint-and-sip venue. This period allowed me to further hone my skills and explore new dimensions of my artistic voice, all while balancing the beautiful new demands of fatherhood.
